"Kingdom Hearts 3" will likely feature Traverse Town, two new weapons and its gamplay features will be present in "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8".
Game director Tetsuya Nomura stated that gameplay elements for "Kingdom Hearts 3" maybe featured in "Kingdom Hears HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue" for the PlayStation 4 console. The game will feature HD versions of "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, a short film titled "Kingdom Hearts Chi Back Cover and a new game called "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage" staring Aqua of "Birth by Sleep".
Square Enix explained that "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep A Fragmentary Passage" will have gamers control Aqua in the game and elements from "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be incorporated in its control giving fans a little demo of the third instalment in the game series, Gamerant reported.
The Japanese company has implored this kind of strategy from previous games and an example of this is "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" demo, were in it is available for download if gamers buy the "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" game. The only difference between "Episode Duscae" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.0" is that Square Enix will not be looking for feed backs from the gaming fans regarding the gameplay style for "Kingdom Hearts 3".
In other news, it seems that Square Enix will likely add a new setting for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as that Daybreak Town from "Kingdom Hearts X" could be added in the game.
YouTube channel The Gamers Joint claim that a 3D version of the Daybreak Town will be featured in game during the D23 Expo event several months ago and will act as safe haven for Sora and the gang when they are not doing missions from other worlds. However, other gaming fans stated that Daybreak Town should not be included in "Kingdom Hearts 3" stating that the setting will not have a specific purpose unless Square Enix decides to put it in the game, Gamingbolt reported.
There are speculations that the Star Wars and Marvel franchise will be present in the game as Sora will obtain new weapons based from them such as Lightsabers and Captain America's famous star-spangled shield. Nomura stated that having both franchises in the game will be difficult task due to the many strict rules Disney has place itself when it comes to licensed materials.
Other worlds that are rumored in the game include "Toy Story", "Wreck-It Ralph", "Frozen", "Brave", "The Jungle Book" and "The Fox and the Hound".
"King Hearts 3" launch date is speculated to be sometime in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
