"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 resumes its run after two-week hiatus on Dec. 10, 2015. The show returns with highly-anticipated Episode 10 titled "The Earworm Reverberation." The forthcoming instalment revolves around Sheldon and Amy's relationship and showcases what happens after Sheldon rejected Amy's proposal. In Episode 9, Sheldon and Amy struggle to remain friends. However, Amy ends up asking Sheldon to be her boyfriend again but Sheldon rejects her proposal. Still, this is not the end of Sheldon and Amy's love story, in fact it is the beginning.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10 features how Sheldon realises Amy is the one for him. According to Cartermatt, Sheldon and Amy will reunite as a couple in "The Earworm Reverberation."

A promo video gives the glimpse of the events of "The Earworm Reverberation." It teases Sheldon and Amy's reunion and Sheldon's big announcement.

Sheldon has planned a perfect gift for Amy's birthday. "To have coitus with her," Sheldon announces to his friends. They are all shocked at the big revelation. "Thursday can't get here soon enough," Sheldon says at the end of the promo video published on SpoilerTV.com).

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "The Big Bang Theory" executive producer talked about Amy and Sheldon's relationship and the first time they will make love. "After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship," Molaro said. "And we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes."

Meanwhile, Wolowitz and Koothrappali search for the only fan of their band "Footprints on the Moon."
