The Xiaomi MiPad 2 is found to be slimmer and lighter compared to its predecessor and features 7.9 inch Screen, just as the Apple iPad Mini 4 boasts. MiPad 2 uses IPS LCD technology for its screen, while Apple features a LED Backlit IPS LCD. Both the devices feature 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and 2GB of RAM capacity.

The major differences comes in CPU as MiPad 2 uses Intel X5-Z8500 chipset with Quad Core CPU running at 2.24 GHz, while Apple uses its own A8 chipset with a Dual Core CPU clocked at 1.5Ghz.

Another added advantage with MiPad 2 over iPad Mini 4 is that it features 64GB internal memory and an option to extend it up to 128GB. The MiPad 2 comes with two variants - Android-based MiPad 2 and Windows-based MiPad 2 - while iPad Mini 4, as known, comes with Apple iOS 9.

The MiPad 2 is priced ranging at $156 to $203, while Apple iPad Mini 4 starts at $400.

With half the price and exciting features, it won't be shocking if people go for MiPad 2 instead of iPad Mini 4.
