In Episode 10, Sheldon realises what Amy means to him. He finally reveals his feelings for her as the couple reunites. In Episode 11 of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9, the couple will accomplish a huge milestone in their five-year on and off relationship.

According to the synopsis (via Spoiler TV) for the fall finale, Sheldon and Amy will spend a night together and might consummate their relationship. Fans will see their favourite couple finally share some passionate moments.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Big Bang Theory" showrunner released a statement talking about Amy and Sheldon's relationship. "After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes," the statement read as quoted by the abovementioned website.

The website further teases the reappearance of actor Bob Newhart in Season 9 Episode 11. He will return as Arthur Jefferies in Sheldon's dreams. He will appear as ghost dressed as a "Star Wars" character Jedi, who will help Sheldon make some "important" decisions regarding his relationship with Amy. In addition, Leonard, Wolowitz and Koothrappali are in a search for the candidate who will buy their extra ticket to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" after Sheldon decides to skip the movie.
