From changing the way the world communicates through creation of the world's most popular social media site, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is now changing diapers.

He posted on Saturday a photo of him changing the nappy of newborn daughter Maxima. As expected, the posting became viral and has so far got more than 1.8 million likes and generated a lot of comments, reports USA Today.

To add zest to his post, Zuckerberg captioned the photo "On more down, thousands to go." The caption says a lot about his approach to parenthood. Even if he would only avail half, or two out of four months of paternity leave Facebook has, he intends to share with wife Priscilla Chan parenting chores, specifically diaper changing which is often done by the mother.

Even Priscilla could opt to pass those "dirty" chores to a nanny since the couple, who announced that they would donate 99 percent of Zuckerberg's Facebook share, equivalent to $45 billion, could surely afford to hire a dozen nannies for Maxima.

Among those who commented was Loren Chung who made a quick calculation of the number of diapers a parent needs to use until the child gets potty trained and would know when to go to the toilet, making it unnecessary to wear nappies. Cheng writes, "I thought thousands might have been hyperbolic, but it's not - that's the right order of magnitude."

In reply, Zuckerberg said that Chung is correct and estimates the diaper changes that Maxima would go through until she outgrows the nappies is 5,000+.

And with that comment comes unsolicited parenting advice such as recommending Smart Bottom diapers by Megan Krecsmar to a suggestion by Meghna Babbar-Sebens that the new parents instead use pocket diapers, or user-friendly cloth diapers, to save trees, energy and decrease landfills.

However, Giselle Hale points out that the real news of the photo is that Zuckerberg is not the Facebook founder changing diapers, but he is wearing a purple T-shirt since he is known for wearing the same grey T-shirt. To that observation, Zuckerberg replies, "My grey shirt comes in many colors, but I only wear them on weekend and paternity leave." He ends the reply with a smiley, showing that despite being one of the richest man now, Zuckerberg is as simple as other new dads and is enjoying the moment to the hilt.
