It has been more than two decades ago since the first NSX was made public by Honda Motors Inc. Honda first debuted its NSX in 1989 during the International Auto Show in Chicago, Illinois and was only able to fully put it on market in 1990.

The luxurious electric hybrid version is said to be priced at a hefty amount of $150,000 and will hit the road later this year. The Japanese Auto maker aims to compete with other well known brand such BMW, Audi and even Ferrari. It will then proceed with the Acura NSX orders by August 2015.

The NSX concept was first presented in 2012 though it took Honda three years of intensive development before they have actually displayed the said "badass" supercar, as the Japanese auto maker had to make sure that they will showcase a rock star that will stand out for people to take it seriously.

According to USA Today, the supercar will boast an all-aluminum V6 engine with three electric motors, which will surely give a different feel and driving experience. Honda's supercar is said to have four driving modes: sport, sport plus, quiet and track.

The Acura NSX is being developed by an all American R&D team at Honda's Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio and the luxurious supercar's design is led by Acura's team in Torrence, California.
