"Super Smash Bros." will be receiving a Nintendo Direct this coming Dec. 15 as the game's final one probes into a Cloud DLC character revealed last November. Masahiro Sakurai, franchise director, referred to this in a Famitsu interview, therefore leaving the fans believe the likelihood of determining the importance of the arsenal attacks of Cloud to the lineup.

In "Super Smash Bros." data collection for latest stages and characters, Nintendo included three additional placeholder sections, with Cloud being regarded as among these, leaving a couple of characters still undisclosed.

The Smash Ballot has been revealed last April and ended in October but nothing was heard about it. The manner of voting tallies has not been clearly discussed or whether the votes were even considered by Sora Ltd., IGN News shared. The answers might somehow be answered by the addition of three new placeholders that appear to be the taken from the ballot. Most importantly, the questionable ballot entries were initially discovered on Oct. 1, a few days prior to the final voting, Design & Trend reported.

Since this is going to be the final Direct, it is most likely that Sakurai will think of something for the future "Super Smash Bros." No one knows exactly if the three new DLC fighters would be the final ones for the game or if there is going to be a bit of mention regarding the Smash NX version. But for sure, everyone is expecting to hear some news about a plan for the next Smash.

"Super Smash Bros." Last Direct is happening on Dec. 15, 2 p.m. PT., and currently available for 3DS and Wii U.
