Lady Gaga shocked everyone when she interrupted Matt Bomer's chill "Hotline Bling" dance break in the television series, "American Horror Story: Hotel."

"American Horror Story" fans were not happy with what the "Poker Face" singer's character, The Countess, did in the show's "Hotel" episode. According to Billboard, Bomer's character, Donovan, was listening to Drake's R&B song "Hotline Bling" while drinking his champagne and puffing his cigarette when The Countess entered the scene, leading him to become stressed.

According to E! News, The Countess interrupted Donovan because she wanted to complain about the latter killing her lover. Despite of her entrance in the middle of Donovan's ecstatic moment, the episode still promised a great storyline.

While fans were not delighted by how Lady Gaga's character broke Bomer's groovy moment, the "Poker Face" singer is currently known as a Grammy nominee, Golden Globe nominated actress, and Billboard's Woman of the Year.

Bomer's groovy version of Drake's "Hotline Bling" stands as the first the time the music video had been re-worked. Following the music video's release on Oct. 19 via Apple Music and on Vevo on Oct. 26, "Hotline Bling" reached the second spot on the United States "Billboard Hot 100" and became Drake's first top-10 single in two years.

Aside from Lady Gaga, "American Horror Story" also featured Adam Levine and Patti Lupone. Stevie Nicks starred in "American Horror Story: Coven" and sang "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything About You?" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon."

"American Horror Story: Hotel" returns with episode 11 on Jan 6, 2016.
