Zack Snyder's upcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to run for more than two and a half hours.

A German theater source revealed that Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will run in 151 minutes, according to DC Comics Movie. This implies that the runtime of the upcoming film is more than Snyder's "Man of Steel" in 2013, which had a runtime of 143 minutes, or two hours and 23 minutes.

Germany's release of the film's runtime suggests that some websites in Europe are already selling tickets for the upcoming superhero film, according to Comic Book Resources. In addition, it is also notable that the runtimes of various films in theaters in European territories may vary than they do in the United States.

With its runtime, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is assumed to blend an epic battle between Batman and Superman, along with potential backstory of Wonder Woman. In fact, the characters are assumed to appear in each other's solo film, such as Patty Jenkins' "Wonder Woman" and the untitled solo "Batman" film. These elements will set up the foundation to the rise of the superhero team Justice League.

Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are set to play Batman and Superman, respectively. The film also stars Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.

Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016.
