New "Arrow" season 4 details will feature Vixen joining the cast, Felicity Smoak not dead and Stephen Amell possibly leaving the show for Marvel superhero role.

It seems that Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) new love interest and fellow Team Arrow member Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will not likely die in season 4 as Rickard's posted a photo on her Instagram page confirming that Felicity will indeed survive her fatal gun shot wound.

Photo also featured Rickard's other "Arrow" TV series co-stars Amell, Willa Holland, Katie Cassidy and David Ramsey. Rickard's has been silent about Felicity's possible death in the show, but the photo itself might confirmed that she will be alive and well through the rest of season 4.

Felicity Smoak is one of the few major characters that were rumored to die in "Arrow" season 4 along with fellow teammate John Diggle (Ramsey) and SCPD's Captain Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne).

Aside from Felicity's rumord death, Mari McCabe/Vixen (Megalyn Echikunwoke) has been added to the cast of "Arrow" season 4 and she is set to appear in episode 15 on Feb. 24, 2016. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim expressed his excitement on having Vixen in the show after appearing in her own animated series in CW Seeds.

It is not clear yet whether Vixen's appearance is a one time deal similar to John Constantine (Matt Ryan), but since the showrunners teased more Constantine appearance in the show, they would probably do the same with Vixen if her episode in "Arrow" could produce good results, Screenrant reported.

Since season 4 deals with magic and mysticism, Vixen could be the perfect ally for Green Arrow and his friends as her mystical connection to her totem could be useful in fighting Damien Darhk and his allies in H.I.V.E.

Lastly, it seems that season 4 could be the last time audiences see Stephen Amell in the Green Arrow suite as he expressed his interest for a role in Marvel Studios in one of there future films, ComicBook reported.

Amell stated in an interview that he is glad to take any roles for Marvel even though he admitted that he rarely read Marvel comics and is a solid DC Comic fan before he landed the role of Oliver Queen in "Arrow" TV series. This sparked rumors that season 4 of the show could be Amell's last appearance, but the latter has not yet commented on the speculation.

"Arrow" season 4 returns on Jan. 20 on the CW Network.
