One Direction's Louis Tomlinson was recently spotted with "The Originals" actress Danielle Campbell, fueling rumors that romance is in the air.
Tomlinson is kicking off a much-deserved hiatus, but fans continue to hound him, as evidenced by numerous snaps they took of him while enjoying the company of Campbell.
Tomlinson was spotted in Campbell's hometown in Illinois, looking sweet and attentive as he accompanied the young actress in an ice-cream parlor. They were also seen dropping by Red Mango for a post-dinner snack.
The two celebrities were also seen walking Campbell's dogs and shopping. They acted like they were "a couple," People reported.
Despite speculations that they are dating, Tomlinson may simply enjoy chilling out with Campbell, Bustle reported. The English pop singer-songwriter, who turns 24 just before Christmas, is about to have a baby with his stylist-friend Briana Jungwirth.
Campbell, 20, is known for portraying the powerful witch Davina Claire in the American television series that is a spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries." She also had a recurring role on the action serial drama "Prison Break" and appeared in a handful of Disney film and television projects.
Campbell has a common denominator with the One Direction hunk. Both of them love their work in the entertainment industry.
Fans have come out to lend their support to the budding relationship between the young stars. One fan tweeted that she supports the duo a hundred percent, because they look happy together.
Another fan enjoined Tomlinson's online followers to let the One Direction heartthrob enjoy and live life to the hilt.
