It is Lawrence, working in tandem with and trusting the creative instincts of her "Silver Linings Playbook" director, who has drawn much publicity for the movie.

Lawrence wrote on her Facebook page that it was a huge privilege to play an amazing woman. The "Hunger Games" actress credited Russell and the entire cast for coming up with an intriguing and inspiring film.

Lawrence said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that Russell has a non-stop flow of ideas, and he strives to find the truth in his characters.

Mangano has heaped praises on both Russell and Lawrence for the way they are bringing her story to the silver screen. Talk show host and author Tina Brown tweeted that Lawrence's "quiet intensity so explains her formidable success."

For her part, Mangano recounted in an interview with People that from her very first meeting with Lawrence, the actress made a good impression.

The American entrepreneur who is a divorced mother of three kids even said Lawrence could be her daughter, since the actress portrayed her so well.
