According to the post, on April 26, "the most ambitious installment in the 'Uncharted' series will be in your hands." The delay was a hard decision but necessary to meet the developer company's standards and vision, Ecumenical News reported.

With the release date deadline looming, game developers noticed that certain sequences needed extra time to be completed. Extending the deadline will allow the production team to release the best send-off for Nathan Drake and his avid fans.

Druckmann and Straley wrote in the post, "To you, our loyal fans, we hope you'll accept our sincere apology. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for Nathan Drake's final chapter, and now we humbly ask you to wait a bit longer."

In the upcoming game, Nathan Drake will focus on his last adventure. His long lost brother, Sam, emerges and requests Nathan to help him solve a conspiracy concerning hidden pirate treasures. For this reason, Nathan is compelled to come out of retirement and overcome his physical challenges.

Meanwhile, the latest 30-second clip comes in a gradual poetic narration concerning Nathan Drake, with Nolan North voicing the character, according to Techno Buffalo. The clip starts with a description of Drake as a thief "who risks it all for some piece of treasure." The voice says how people know and will reckon Drake before ending with the statement, "that is not who I am."

Initially, Druckmann said that the launch of "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" will wrap up Naughty Dog's era. Therefore, the production team is working hard to offer gamers with the best version for the game.
