Fans of the famous video game were delighted after the official announcement that "Final Fantasy VI" would be coming to Steam; however, their happiness hastily faded when it was announced that the PC community would be having the game's mobile version,

While the games had the same title, the mobile version did not have the same style as its predecessor. The issue was addressed through the introduction of a plug-in that brings back "Final Fantasy VI" to a closer state as its predecessor.

According to Cinema Blend, the bilinear filter mod serves as the only latest leap for Square Enix when it comes to fan-favorite game update. At present, fans are also anticipating the upcoming remake of "Final Fantasy VII," which is set to feature a new fighting engine when it hits the market.

With the bilinear filter mod developed, "Final Fantasy VI" games may now have more courage to purchase the video game and modify the game graphics back to its anitquated look. In fact, "Final Fantasy VI" is on sale on Steam; the video game is discounted by 10 percent to $14.39.
