The official list of devise from Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC and Motorola will be receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update at the start of 2016.
Samsung
Several Samsung devices from 2015 and 2014 will be receiving Android 6.0 upgrade. It includes Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A7, GSM Arena reported.
Sony
Sony too will be releasing Android 6.0 upgrade for a wide range of 2015 and 2014 devices such as Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia C4, Xperia M5, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3V, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition from 2013 will also receive Android 6.0 soon.
LG
LG will release Android 6.0 update for it major smartphones at the start of this year. Users of LG G4, LG V10, LG G Flex 2, LG G4 Stylo and LG G3 are on schedule to get Android 6.0 upgrade at the start of 2016.
HTC
Numerous smartphones from HTC that released last year are going to receive Android 6.0 upgrade. It includes HTC One M9, HTC One M9+, HTC One E9, HTC One E9+, HTC One ME, HTC Butterfly 3, and HTC Desire 826. Other smartphones like HTC One M8, HT One M8 Eye, HTC One E8, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816 are also going to receive Android 6.0 upgrade at the beginning of 2016.
Motorola
The third generation models of Moto X Pure Edition and Moto G and other devices like Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto X Pure Edition (2014), Droid Turbo, Moto Maxx and Moto Turbo are the Motorola devices that are going to be updated to Android 6.0 soon. The third generation Moto E is also poised to receive Android 6.0 soon, International Business Times reported.
