Hannah Davis, 24, graces the cover of the newly unveiled Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated. The shot, which was snapped by Ben Watts, features the model in a "barely-there" bikini with the Blackberry Farm in Tennessee as her background.
Davis shared the good news to the world via an Instagram photo with the caption, "Thank you to my @si_swimsuit and @imgmodels family! I am honored to be your 2015 cover girl! Wow!!"
The annual Sports Illustrated swimwear issue cover girl was unveiled on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon," late Wednesday.
"I have actually told mom that there was no way that I will get this year's cover," the surprised model shared to Sports Illustrated after the extravagant announcement. "I told her that they have beaches for covers and I am on a farm. It is impossible," she added.
The cover girl grew up enjoying tennis and volleyball. She was discovered during a professional Caribbean tennis circuit at the age of 14. Since then, she has been doing modeling gigs with Victoria's Secret and Ralph Lauren.
The 24-year-old model has been going out with the retired New York Yankee player, Derek Jetter since 2012. In October 2014, TMZ reported that the couple got married in a secret ceremony in New York, though they have not confirmed it until today.
This Victoria Secret model is the latest in the line of Jeter's gorgeous women next to Vanessa Minnillo, Jessica Biel, and Jessica Alba.
Sports Illustrated's 50th anniversary was celebrated last year with cover models Lilly Aldridge, Chrissy Teige, and Nina Agdal.
