Several "Game of Thrones" stars are acclaimed as beautiful faces worldwide. TC Candler announced its Most Beautiful Faces 2016 list via YouTube on Dec. 27, Tuesday, and the video has 2.1 million views as of date. The list has "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner on her second appearance.
Turner ranked 65th in the 2014 list while her co-star in the HBO series Nathalie Emmanuel ranks 42nd in the beautiful faces 2016, her 4th appearance on the list. The Missandei actress was 16th in 2013 which was her highest so far.
Landing at number 18 is the Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke whose appearance in the list is her sixth. She was TC Chandler's winner in 2012.
Another proof that the multi-Emmy award winner fantasy series has many beautiful faces is Michiel Huisman. The Dutch actor, singer, and songwriter tops TC Candler list of the 100 Most Handsome Faces in 2016. He plays as Daario Naharis, the Commander of the Second Sons.
Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" has made a significant difference in Northern Ireland. It saved a farmer's business by having his animals appear on the show.
Forthill Farm in County Armagh was struggling when its breed residents became animal celebrities. Farmer Kenny Gracey is the supplier of background animals for the fantasy series.
"It has been a great asset and a great savior for our farm," Gracey told Sky News. "Any of the background animals, the chickens, the goats, the geese, the dogs for instance or the deer ... I'm supplying those."
The show earned Gracey's iron-age pigs and other animals which appeared on HBO a home for life. Meanwhile, direwolves like Summer and Greywind of Winterfell's House Stark were supplied by Direwolf Tours.
The world-famous show not only helps the living animals, but the dead ones as well. It uses costumes and props produced from animals that ethically died. The show is set to end in 2018 but has given exposure to its stars which may mean a better future for the animals.
HBO's fantasy drama returns this year for its shortened seventh season. Instead of the usual 10 episodes per season, it will only be seven and six episodes for Seasons 7 and 8. The episodes are shortened because the producers want to take their time with the last two seasons, actor Iain Glen told RadioTimes.
