The world's largest bronze drum, with a height of 2.6 meters, a diameter of 4.2 meters and a weight of 7 tons, was completed on Jan. 10 in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The drum was designed by Wei Qichu and Wei Qican, inheritors of the traditional bronze drum making technique. After six months of labor, the drum was finally cast in shape by 20 workers.
As reported, the one-time casting of such a huge drum is quite difficult. The success of the drum is a breakthrough in the bronze drum making industry.
