According to Spoiler TV's press release for "Decompressed," the agents of Naval Criminal Investigative Services will carry out an unconventional investigation in the upcoming instalment.
A deep sea diver is found dead. In the unusual investigation, the NCIS team must look underwater for evidence as the murder took place when the diver was on duty. The murder has been committed from outside a high-tech decompression diver tank.

In addition, fans can expect to see some progress in Ellie Bishop's (Emily Wickersham) storyline. The NCIS agent is going through a divorce and it will impact her professional life in a big way.
In an interview with TV Guide, Wickersham revealed that Bishop's divorce with Jake Malloy (Jamie Bamber) will lead to her "unravelling." According to Wickersham, Bishop is going to be "really involved in her work for the rest of the season."
"I would imagine that she would take a little bit of time to herself, to really take a moment, think about that relationship. Relationships are hard, and I think that being alone for periods of time is important, to learn things about yourself. I think that's what Bishop will have to do," Wickersham added.
"NCIS" Season 1 episode 14 airs Feb 9 on CBS. More spoilers and updates for "Decompressed" are expected soon.
