Big Bang, the first Korean boy group to achieve 100 million views on two separate videos, has already made tremendous record. The Kpop boy band have set 100 million views on one of their hit single, and now, another milestone was made by hitting 200 million views on their single "Fantastic Baby."
Big Bang's summer music video "Bang Bang Bang" got 100 million views in Jan. 19, while the 200 million view record took place on Jan. 26, which shocked the Korean boy band. Some of the songs that made it to MelOn's Top 10 were "Bae Bae," "Loser" and "Bang Bang Bang."
The Korean male group releases two singles every month as part of their MADE project, which started from the month of May until August of 2015. Each single that Big Bang is releasing constantly tops the chart, and YG Entertainment already proved that Big Bang can withstand the test of stardom through ups and down. Even though Big Bang was originally introduced to the public 10 years ago, YG Entertainment never lose faith in them, as patience and hard work are the key points in reaching for the person's goal in life, Soompi reported.
Big Bang, which is a group of five gorgeous Korean male that has captured the heart of millions, is the second Korean artist to get astonishing number of views on YouTube, next to PSY's "Gangnam Style" single with an amazing record of 2.5 million views. "Gangnam Style" holds the title of the Most Viewed Videos in YouTube history.
Although there have been several Korean artists who made numerous hits with more than 100 million views, Big Bang is the first and only all-male group to reach over 200 million views on YouTube. The reason why the hit single "Fantastic Baby" reached its record is because of the inviting choreography of the song as well as its upbeat music that will definitely let its listener stand up and dance.
Other Korean stars that also reached 100 million views were Super Junior, Girl's Generation, 2NE1 and HyunA.
