The Pokémon Company revealed "Pokken Tournament's" release date along with even more exciting information about the said game title. The soon-to-be-released game has added four more playable characters, and is said to be released on March 18 for Europe and North America.
"Pokken Tournament" is one of the highly grossing Wii U games that were showcased during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation. Unfortunately, the release date for North America and the European sub-continent were not revealed back then. At that time, the release date was put on hold, unlike Japan, which got a release date of March 18 during the premiere, while the company gave the European and North American gamers a vague "around the spring of 2016" answer.
The Pokémon Company officially published in their website on Jan. 15, about "Pokken Tournament's" release date for Europe and North America, which is confirmed to be on March 18.
"Pokken Tournament" was developed by The Pokemon Company along with Bandai Namco Ebtertainment Inc., who is the producer of the "Tekken Series" - a top level, highly grossing fighting games until today. "Pokken Tournament" game will bring out a tough gameplay and incredible controls to the heavy battles between the Pokémon.
So far, the game has 15 characters, with the latest character that was released a few days back. The spooky Chandelure was the much awaited Pokémon that was recently added to the list of fighters. He joins other fighters like Pikachu, Lucario, Grachomp and many more.
Since 2016 also marks the 20th anniversary of the Pokémon games, the "Pokken Tournament" is expected to be the best ever games among the Pokémon original game series. Owing to the 20th anniversary, many special events and celebrations are also on the way.
