Many might have dreamt about a chair beside when they feel tired of standing for hours, in which, the problem has been solved by the invention of a wearable chair by Japan. This technological wonder, however, does not have the appearance of a chair, though it performs the functions of a chair.

The Archelis, as what they named it, is the result of joint efforts of Japan Polymer Tech, Chiba University, Hiroaki Nishimura Designs and a Yokohama-based mould factory. This new product moreover looks like a pair of leg braces and it bear the upper body weight which will allow the person who wears it to sit in standing position. One can perform all the tasks even after wearing it.

Its strap can be worn outside the clothes and are adjustable to make one comfortable. The 3D printed part sits just below the posterior and wraps around the legs. Thus, it will create a chair-like support out of the legs. Inventors are targeting working people, including surgeons, who will have to stand for hours while performing their duties.

Although it has been invented and tested, still it remains as a dream as the inventors has not yet started with its commercial manufacturing. The company is still working hard to make possible changes so that they can offer this invention in affordable price to more people. According to reliable sources, the company will start manufacturing soon, and is planning to launch the product in the open market by next summer.

Being an innovative idea and being useful for many people, the company is expecting a good business right at the beginning. They are vowed to keep the quality intact so that there will not be any negative propaganda.
