A high-profile matchup between two of the 2015-2016 Premier League's top contenders, Arsenal FC (14-5-6, 48 points) and Leicester City FC (15-2-8, 53 points), is set on Sunday, Feb. 14th at the Emirates Stadium in Holloway, London.

The two teams are coming off impressive wins in their previous matches and both would like to further gain momentum as the current season moves forward.

Arsenal trounced struggling squad AFC Bournemouth, 2-0, at the Vitality Stadium last Sunday for their second straight unbeaten game, as reported by SkySports.

The Gunners started strong with two goals at the 23rd and 24th minutes from midfielders Mesut Özil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to make itself comfortable right from the onset, halting 328 scoreless minutes for Arsene Wenger's side.

Wenger's decision to start Oxlade-Chamberlain in place of Joel Campbell paid dividends as the 22-year-old Englishman contributed a goal against the Cherries, bouncing back from a goalless draw with Southampton on Feb. 2.

Arsenal is now at the no. 3 spot in the league table, tied on points with Tottenham Hotspur but with a lesser goal differential of +17 as compared to the Spurs +26.

Meanwhile, Leicester City pulled off a remarkable 3-1 victory against a tough Manchester City eleven on the road at the Etihad Stadium last Saturday, as per BBC Sport.

In one of the most highly-anticipated matchups this season, German defender Robert Huth netted a double for Claudio Ranieri's squad at the 3rd and 60th minutes to seal the win for City.

Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez also scored three minutes into the second half to give the Foxes a commanding 2-0 lead before Huth second goal made it 3-0 at the hour mark.

Argentine striker Sergio Agüero scored a consolation goal for the Citizens three minutes before full time to put his team on board, but it was not enough to overcome Leicester's dominance in the match.

The Foxes, who has a firm grasp of league leadership being five points clear off closest pursuers Arsenal and Tottenham, are unbeaten in their last six outings and are currently on a three-game winning run.

The predicted result is another 3-1 victory for Leicester City against a hard-fighting Arsenal squad.

Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Cech; Bellerín, Paulista, Koscielny, Monreal; Flamini, Ramsey; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Özil, Sanchez; Giroud

Leicester City starting lineup (4-4-2 formation): Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kanté, Albrighton; Okazaki, Vardy
