The CW president Mark Pedowitz has said the network might release another "Arrow" spin-off following the success of "The Flash," whose premiere as watched by 6.8 million viewers making it the network' most-watched telecast of all time.
"You'd have to be judicious. Could there be another hour in that universe? Possibly. That's why we're in preliminary discussion," Pedowitz said at the Television Critics Association's semi-annual press tour in Pasadena on Jan. 18 adding that the possible spin-off must "stand on its own legs."
On Jan. 28, the CW will air the 11th episode of "Arrow" Season 3 titled "Midnight City," which was directed by Nick Copus and written by Wendy Mericle and Ben Sokolowski.
In 2014, "Glee" alum Nolan Funk appeared on the third season of "Arrow." Titled "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak," the Nov. 5, 2-14 episode of "Arrow Season 3" revealed things about Felicity played by Emily Bett Rickards.
As stated in the released synopsis, Felicity and Oliver played by Stephen Amell was "pushed to their limits to contain the destruction" caused by the cyber-attack that brought Starling City "to its knees."
As a guest star, Nolan played Felicity's former boyfriend. Charlotte Ross playing Donna, Felicity's mother, and JR Ramirez playing Ted Grant who questioned the motives of Laurel played by Katie Cassidy also appeared as guest stars in the said "Arrow" Season 3 episode
Dona's surprise visit to her daughter's place caused some trouble while Willa Holland's character will buy's an apartment using the estate money of Malcolm played by John Barrowman, which will enrage Oliver.
