"Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan, 28, has been criticized by her Instagram followers accusing her of photoshopping her waistline in a new underwear selfie.
On Jan. 25, Sunday, Lohan took to Instagram to show off her toned physique by sharing a photo of herself wearing a fitted white midriff-baring blouse and a skimpy pair of Calvin Klein underwear in the bathroom with a caption "#mycalvins are helping me fight off my chikungunya hehe."
However, the photo appears to have been photoshopped to make her waistline appear slimmer as her Instagram followers noticed some bottles in the background slanted and not standing straight.
Days before this, Lohan has been fighting the rare illness Chikungunya. Just before New Year, she revealed having contracted the virus spread by mosquito bites that can cause fatigue, muscle pain, rashes and other side effects. She was briefly hospitalized in London.
At the time, Lohan took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and her friends and wrote, "In good faith with good people. I refuse to let a virus effect my peaceful vacation...be safe and happy on the new year all...#Wildfox and a positive, healthy new year."
Lohan's most recent role in the small screen was Claire Guinness in "2 Broke Girls," which stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs playing the title roles. She is set to appear in three films "Life Travelers" with James Duval and Adrienne Wilkinson, "Six Gun Dead" with Eric Roberts and Mark Boone Junior and "Soul Carriers" with Jenna Stone and Duval.
