Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney's collaboration song titled "FourFiveSeconds" is now available online. The acoustic track can be downloaded at Rihanna Now.
Three weeks after West and McCartney released their surprise collaboration "Only One," Rihanna took to Twitter to announce yet another surprise collaboration.
"FIRST GLIMPSE AT MY NEW MUSIC!!!" Rihanna tweeted on Jan. 24.
The "FourFiveSeconds" song is from Rihanna's upcoming eighth studio album, which is a departure from her album "Unapologetic" in 2012.
On the opening lines of "FourFiveSeconds," Rihanna sings with plucky acoustic guitar complements, "I think I've had enough/ Might get a little drunk/ I say what's on my mind/ I might do a little time/ 'Cause all of my kindness/ Is taken for weakness."
In his part, West sings, "Woke up an optimist/ Sun was shining, I'm positive/ Then I heard you was talking trash/ Hold me back/ I'm about to spazz."
On the chorus, Rihanna and West harmonize together, "Now I'm four, five seconds from wildin'/ And we got three more days 'till Friday/ I'm just tyring to make it back home by Monday morning."
While Rihanna and West handle all of the vocals of "FourFiveSeconds," McCartney provided keyboards on the track.
On Jan. 22, West previewed "FourFiveSeconds" at the iHeartRadio Summit music industry event in Los Angeles, where he gave the audience with a surprise, stream-of-consciousness speech for 45 minutes about his "responsibility to innovate," according to Rolling Stone.
Rihanna has collaborated with West on tracks including "All of the Lights" and "Run This Town."
