Kylie Jenner, 17, confirmed that she is still going to finish high school amid rumors that she is dropping out for her career.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star gave a statement to People on Jan. 23, Friday, during the Sugar Factory American Brasserie grand opening in Rosemon, Illinois, confirming that she has not dropped out of school.
"I have a lot of interests I'm pursuing," Jenner told the publication.
Jenner said that she is still going through with her high-school home schooling with a school teacher. Jenner still has around four months before finishing.
Jenner added that she will continue with her fashion career after she receives her high-school diploma. If she decides to push through for a university degree, she will be the third out of her seven siblings who graduated from university, according to Contact Music.
The rumors came after Kendall Jenner was confirmed to be the new face of Manhattan-based beauty products manufacturer Estee Lauder. There are also speculations that her older sister used connections from her family to for the advancement of her fashion model career.
Jenner and American rapper Nick Cannon were the hosts for the designer accessory brand's grand opening. Cannon was also the disk jockey in the event's after party.
While walking on the red carpet, Jenner took out "Gray Sparkle" and "Black Diamond," two of their new "couture pops," which she co-designed with her sister Kendall Jenner.
Meanwhile, the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" is on its 10th season. Jenner said that the season will feature more "family stuff."
