iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

The release of Apple's latest smartphone iPhone6 has helped the tech giant to end the previous year on a high note.  The newly released smartphones have bigger and larger screens compared to the previous models and have hit the consuming public's taste. The Cupertino based company's subscriptions blasted up from 28 percent in Q4 compared to Q3, according to Design N Trend.

"The strength of the September 2014 launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus fueled Apple's dominance in US mobile phone sales this quarter, Apple had virtually double the sales of Samsung, and five times that of LG. No other brand accounted for as much as 5% of US sales." said Josh Lowitz, Partner and CoFounder of Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP).

The iPhone users have strong allegiance to the company since most from the 86 percent of Q4's purchases were all upgrades from current iPhone users.  Apple was able to shift other non-iPhone users to finally change to their smartphones. Like 25 percent of Samsung users, 18 percent of LG users have also changed to the new iPhone6.

The latest smartphones of Apple are 4.7 inch iPhone6 and the 5.5 inch iPhone6 Plus which have 64GB and 128GB internal storage respectively.  These new iPhone have features that makes them way hotter than the previous models, it has 'retina display' that adjusts depending on the distance of the eyes from the screen. The resolution of both smartphones allows a pixel to pixel display of full HD video quality, Forbes reported.

These new iPhones are the next generation phablet edition of Apple as a competition to Samsung's Note series in the premium smart phone category.

The fruity tech giant aims to continue attracting more users as the year progresses.
