Surprise second-running team Tottenham Hotspur (14-3-9, 51 points) will look to extend their five-game winning streak as they face struggling squad Swansea City AFC (6-11-9, 27 points) at the White Hart Lane on Sunday, Feb 28th for a 2015-2016 Premier League season match.

Tottenham had won their last five outings to spring up to second place in the in the English top flight's current leaderboard. They are now only two points away from league leaders Leicester City but tied on points with Arsenal.

The Spurs got the no. 2 spot because they have a higher goal differential of +27 as compared to the Gunners +18.

Mauricio Pochettino's boys edged out Manchester City, 2-1, at the Etihad Stadium last Sunday to widen the gap between them and City, as reported by BBC Sport.

It was the Citizen's second consecutive loss, which made them fall behind by four points from Tottenham and Arsenal.

The game was goalless in the first half until the Spurs' resident striker Harry Kane struck at the 53rd minute with a penalty kick.

City forward Kelechi Iheanacho equalized the game at the 74th to give his side some hope, but Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen doused it by netting the winner with seven minutes from full time.

Meanwhile, Swansea City suffered another tough defeat by losing to Southampton, 0-1, at their home field of Liberty Stadium last Saturday, as per SkySports.

The two teams looked shaky almost the entire match as both defenses did not give any chances at the goal as the first half ended in a goalless tie. It continued in the second half until Southampton forward Shane Long headed the winner at the 69th minute, which proved to be enough for the Saints to snag the three points in the standings.

Francesco Guidolin's squad did not find the back of the Saints' net in the game as they extended their winless run three games after winning two straight. They are now three points away from bottom-three relegation.

The predicted result is a 3-0 romp for Tottenham Hotspur over Swansea City. The Spurs are on a roll right now and almost unbeatable.
