Indo-Chinese joint venture movie ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ featuring Jackie Chan and Bollywood stars nears completion.

Bollywood star Amyra Dastur, who was last seen in the not-so-successful "Mr. X," is seemingly on cloud nine owing to her hotly-anticipated upcoming movie "Kung Fu Yoga," starring none other than Jackie Chan.

The 22-year-old Indian beauty was recently spotted at Mumbai airport as she was leaving for Iceland to kick start the next phase of the film's shooting, CanIndia reported. The filming of the action-packed movie has already been completed in China, Middle-East, and Tibet.

Earlier, Dastur claimed that her action stunts in "Mr. X" brought her a lot of appreciation and even played pivotal part in landing her the meaty role along side Chan, which was almost given to other Indian star Ileana Dcruz.

Earlier, Dastur was seemingly smitten by Chan during an interview when she could not stop gushing about working with the world-renowned action figure.

"Jackie is like a kid on the sets. He used to stand and observe me when he wasn't shooting," the actress told Deccan Chronicle.

Meanwhile, rumors are rife that newbie Bollywood star Disha Patani has also been roped in for an important role in "Kung Fu Yoga." The model-turned-actress is likely to be seen playing the role of Chan's love interest, an Indian professor of archaeology, who is also well-versed in martial skills.

The movie also stars Indian actor Sonu Sood,  Tomer Oz, Lay Zhang, Miya Muqi, Arif Rahman, and YiXing Zhang. It is being directed by Stanley Tong of "The Myth" fame.

"Kung Fu Yoga," which is set to release sometime later in 2016, is the story about a Chinese professor who travels to Tibet to find the famed lost treasure of Magadha empire when he comes face to face with Randall, played by Sood, who is actually the descendant of the rebel army leader from centuries ago that first acquired the Magadha treasure.

What ensues is a chase for the treasure between the professor, who teams up with a couple of Indian beauties, and Randall after which the latter auctions off the same in some Middle East country. The treasure finally lands up with the Indian professor, who turns out to be  a descendant of the Magadha empire.

The trailer of the movie is yet to be released. Meanwhile, check out the glimpse from the behind-the-scene of the much-awaited movie below:
