Apple iPhone 7 is slated for a September release with a new design.

Apple iPhone 7 release may be delayed, as the A10 chip production is in jeopardy, due to the recent earthquake in Taiwan.

Earlier, Apple iPhone 7 was expected to be released later this year, possibly in September; however, according to BGR, the recent Taiwan earthquake in February may cause a delay in the production of iPhone 7. Taiwan was hit by the 6.4 magnitude earthquake, which affected the chip manufacturer TSMC as well. Their wafer shipment production took a hit.

Earlier, it was perceived to be a small issue, but later, the investigation revealed that the damage was severe. However, the Cupertino-based tech company is working really hard on innovating this device and doing their best to manage the production issues.

Meanwhile, the upcoming device is expected to be packed with some innovative features, which have not been seen in an Apple device before:

1) Waterproof feature: The upcoming model of iPhone 7 is expected to introduce the feature of waterproof protection in the device. This feature will resist all kinds of water damage, which can happen to the gadget. The device will also come with the feature of being dustproof. Apple is reportedly introducing these features because their arch rival Samsung recently introduced them with the Galaxy S7.

2) iOS 9.5: Apple iPhone 7 will be armed with the latest generation of iOS, the iOS 9.5. It was rumoured earlier that Apple was working on an iOS 10 or maybe an iOS X, but it is now expected that the tech giant will come out with the iOS 9.5 with the release of the iPhone 7. The latest version of Apple iOS will be able to do so much more, like customizing the colours of the OS, etc.

3) Wireless Music: The iPhone 7 is reported to come with the feature of Wireless Music services. The Wireless Music services will bring a revolution the world of music technology. Apple is also expected to get rid of the 3.5 mm jack, and come with the wireless ear pods.

Rounding up other rumoured features, the Apple iPhone 7 is said to be sporting dual camera lens and the new Li-Fi feature, which is the replacement of the present day Wi-Fi feature, according to The Week.
