‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 5 spoilers: Obstacles awaits the heroes’ adventure towards the Underworld; Expect more flashbacks, faces from the past are coming back

“Once Upon a Time” Season 6 will air on ABC this fall.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 5 heroes are heading towards the Underworld and it would not be that easy for them. One of the casts were interviewed and stated that there are a lot of challenges along the journey. Also, adversaries from the past are making a return, with much anger to the heroes.

Robin Hood, portrayed by Sam Maguire, said in one of his interviews, "there are obstacles everywhere - a lot of bad people from the past are coming back and they are not too happy with our heroes. If 'Once Upon a Time' was the 'Star Wars' franchise, this would be 'Empire Strikes Back,' as it is going to get dark, it is going to be scary, and there will be surprises."

The upcoming episodes will also draw in stories about the Charmings, Snow White played by Ginnifer Goodwin and Prince Charming played by Josh Dallas. There will be scenes involving Regina, portrayed by Lara Parilla, and Jennifer Morrison as Emma. The heroes' journey to the Underworld will also include introduction of characters that occupies and lives in it, according to TV Line.

The much awaited comeback of "Once Upon a Time" season 5 second half debut is filled with thrilling and exciting episodes. At one point of the season, an episode focusing on Regina's present and past experiences will be aired. The Regina flashback will show her birthday where a significant person shows up as a present that has been long-desired by the Evil Queen.

Interesting fact about the series' mid-season finale are the familiar faces that is rumored to be showing up in the upcoming episodes. To name one, a character that was first seen during the first part of the series will come back when its least expected and with a grand funny entrance.

Greg Germann from "Ally McBeal" will play as the Underworld ruler with hot blue burning hair revealed by Hades. Avid viewers should expect more of flashback stories of the heroes and reunion moments. The heroes will be plagued by the actions and decisions they did in the past during their adventure in the Underworld, added by Movie News Guide.

The "Once Upon a Time" season 5 second half will start with their 100th episode on March 6 at 8PM on ABC.
