PS4 lags behind Xbox One and needs to steal some of the latter's features to satisfy its avid gamers.

Sony PlayStation 4 is pushing hard to match with Microsoft's Xbox One. The wired connectivity issues and stacked USB ports have been leading to a small down break in PS4's sales rate.

Both PS4 and Xbox One consoles are almost identical in their features and offer almost the exact same kind of services; however, the PS4 lags behind Xbox One and needs to steal some of the latter's features to satisfy its avid gamers.

For reference, PlayStation 4 has the best dualshock 4 wireless controller, and with improved analog sticks, precision controls and trigger buttons, they allow unparalleled accuracy on your gameplay. It also has a sophisticated design along with new technologies like multi-touch, integrated light bar, internal speaker, etc. They are very handy but the great drawback is in terms of its quality. The rubber covering of the analog sticks easily come out on regular use.

Meanwhile, Xbox one has one great feature in its software where you can pin certain games and apps on your start page, so the app remains in the start page whenever you power the device. But in PS4, every time you log in, you need to browse through the group of apps or get only the recently used listed in front.

When it comes to easy access to the play store, again Xbox One is better, as PS4 takes a lot of time to connect to its play store. In terms of downloading a game, downloading in PS4 kills most of your time, but in Xbox One, its Xbox One store gives instantaneous results. PS4 should definitely work on how gamers will have an ease of access to their play store.

In terms of gameplay, since Xbox One supports older versions of selected Xbox 360 games, users aren't having any problems on compatibility issues; however, in PlayStation 4, you are required to stream older versions through the play store each time when you need to play a game of earlier versions. You can also change your username in Xbox One, but in PS4, the only way to change the name is to abandon the account.
