MacBook Pro 2016 release (13-inch) this month in gold color? 15-inch model release in June?

MacBook Pro 2016 will come with touchscreen feature, faster performance, longer battery life and Skylake chips in June 2016.

Speculations are rife that the 13-inch model of MacBook Pro 2016 could be released this month with the option of gold color, whereas the 15-inch model's release is expected in June.

According to BGR, the Cupertino-based company is believed to be focusing on the staggered release of the various MacBook Pro 2016 models. The device is expected to unveil at the much speculated event, which will take place in March. On the other hand, the remaining models could be up for sale at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

Rumours are rife that the next generation device from Apple, the very hyped MacBook Pro 2016, will be featuring an OLED display. If this is true, this will become the first device to sport this latest display. Also, it will the most highlighting USP of the gadget. The switch from the Retina HD display screens to the OLED screens will be a big step, even for a tech giant like Apple. Additionally, since the technology is pretty new in the market, it may result to an exponential increase in price.

Meanwhile, regarding the hardware specs of the device, the dimension is believed to be 13.1-mm thin and it may weigh at only two lbs. It will also be offered in many colour variants like gold, silver, and space gray.

It may be powered with a powerful Skylake Core M processor, according to Mac Rumors. This new processor is said to boost up the performance of the device till up to 20 percent. The chipset in this configuration is expected to feature a smart power usage, which is reported to have a battery life of at least along with enhanced graphics display.

Other features which are expected to be seen in the laptop are a USB Type C connection for fast charging of the device, a Thunderbolt port, and also an OS X El Capitan operating system.

It is strongly rumoured that the device will be launched at an introductory price of around $1,299 to $1,599. On the other hand, there are also rumors that the price may actually be lower than the price of its precedessor.
