If reports are anything to go by, Clash of Clans upcoming update will bring significant changes to Clan Wars matchmaking.
According to a post on the game's forum, Clash Of Clans March 2016 update offers major Clan Wars matchmaking changes. Smaller match sizes, win records and defense are given priority.
Given below are the the changes that are coming to Clan Wars matchmaking
1. To make the matchmaking time shorter in the game, war sizes 45v45 and 35v35 are being removed.
2. Clan Wars matchmaking will put less emphasis on offensive progress and a greater emphasis on defensive progress.
3. Strong troops and defenses such as Grand Warden, Eagle Artillery and Inferno Towers will have a greater matchmaking impact.
4. To help remove imbalanced war matchups, team-versus-team compositional checks have been added.
The game developer said that they are looking forward to making more improvements to the Clan Wars experience in 2016, beginning with these changes to help players get better war matchups.
Meanwhile, according to a report from iDigitalTimes, Clash of Clans update will add a new Dark Elixir troop to TH 10.
The game developer has not disclosed any details about the new Dark Elixir troop. However, several reports suggest that the troop will change the balance of the Clash of Clans.
It is expected that the Clash of Clans developer Supercell will announce soon whether the addition will really be a Dark troop or only a regular troop.
Rumors are also doing the rounds that the update will bring the Ice Mage who can freeze establishments and enemies. However, the game developer has not confirmed this information.
Meanwhile, Supercell has also launched Clash Royale in the Philippines. Before its worldwide release, the game was at first rolled out in select markets such as New Zealand, Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Hong Kong and Canada.
