'Final Fantasy XV' update: Square Enix tease unique climate, topography, more non-playable characters; Sequel to have PC, Nintendo NX versions soon?

Final Fantasy XV is an action-RPG video game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

"Final Fantasy XV" will feature a unique climate, topography and non-playable characters in the sequel, as well as possible PC and Nintendo NX versions of the game.

Square Enix environment artist Hiromitsu Sasaki revealed several new game details for "Final Fantasy XV" as he stated in the Square Enix's official blog website that the sequel will feature its unique topography and climate changes.

Sasaki has also worked on "Final Fantasy XV's" dungeons and explained that he intends to give gaming fans a very different experience when they go from one part of the world to another. The terrains on each new area from the continental level, with mountain ranges and the flow of rivers to its flowers, rocks etc. Sasaki added that each are will have its own different climate and topography, giving players a different feel to it.

Meanwhile, Square Enix also teased many non-playable characters in "Final Fantasy XV" as staff member Kaoru Kawaguchi stated that the game will populated by them. Kawaguchi confirmed that there are atleast ten people working on her art group as they are responsible for the drawings and designs of the items and towns for "Final Fantasy XV" and implementing them into CG.

Kawaguchi is mainly responsible for NPCs in "Final Fantasy XV" from their names to their roles in the main plot storyline. She added that most of the art within the game is finished with unforgettable NPCs and mentioned a 100 different styles for them such as the city of Altissia with over 100 different people ranging from men, women and children. The NPC in the game will have different activities within the game such as selling stuff, pouring tea and many more, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

There are also rumors making rounds that "Final Fantasy XV" will likely be ported to the PC and Nintendo NX platforms.

Recent reports revealed that Square Enix might be making a deal with Nintendo to port several games in the latest Nintendo console such as "Final Fantasy XV" and "Final Fantasy 7" remake. Both games will be in a definitive edition due to Nintendo NX's more powerful processing hardware, out performing the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

The PC version for "Final Fantasy XV" on the other hand, is first speculated NeoGaf username KupoNut, who claimed that the HTML code for the March event "Final Fantasy XV: Uncovered" will contain the placeholders of the sequel for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platform via Windows and Steam. Gaming fans have been petitioning for a PC version of "Final Fantasy XV" in Change.org and they remain hopeful that Square Enix will grant their request during the upcoming "FFXV" event this month.

"Final Fantasy XV" will be release sometime this year for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
