Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is an American television series created for ABC by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, based on the Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D., a fictional peacekeeping and spy agency in a world of superheroes.

The return of Creel "Absorbing Man" was particular great to watch this week, since his introduction during season 2 premiere had been a fascinating Marvel inclusion and it would be shameful not to use him again.

Creel's change of sides off screen and helping Talbot - after being Talbot's prisoner at some point - was a little bit odd, particularly because viewers received little information about the twist. However, since Creel was hardly what one would call staunch in his Hydra beliefs, it was great to have him back and his powers were made evident, visually dynamic moments.

From the Monday night episode, it turned out that Creel's blood could be critical in "curing" Inhumans - or at least those who have not been exposed to terrigen yet. The episode revealed the use of Inhumans as an alternative for a plotline Marvel fans would identify from mutant/X-Men lore. Lincoln and Daisy were controversial on whether a "cure" was something that should be given, with Daisy now strongly perceiving what has occurred to her as a gift.

It came out that Talbot was Malick's mole, and this raised some concerns since it would be impossible to reconcile with his past, where he proved several times that he is a jerk, but not Hydra. As a result, it was relief to notice that Talbot had not truly switched sides, but had been compelled to help Malick in saving his son - in an episode that succeeded in showing Coulson and Talbot starting to work together.

Furthermore, it was interesting to see May tell Hunter that she felt he had no actual loyalty to S.H.I.E.L.D, and that he was only there for Bobbi. The move certainly seems to lay some foundation for both to take off if the Marvel's Most Wanted spinoff is ordered. The tension between May and Hunter established a wonderful and hysterical moment, especially when Hunter unveiled he had snuck Bobbi and May's weapons.
