‘Teen Wolf’ Season 6 spoilers: 3 new villains plus good news for Stydia fans

As loyalties were tested with new alliances forged in "Teen Wolf" Season 5 finale, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and his friends worked to stop the Beast before Beacon Hills' destruction. The MTV series is set to return after three months.

In a recent interview with MTV News, show creator Jeff Davis revealed two things that fans can expect from "Teen Wolf" Season 6. First, there will be three new villains to be introduced in the new season.

There is also good news for the viewers who are rooting for Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), who are fondly called Stydia. According to Davis, there is "a great Lydia-Stiles story" in Season 6 and it is expected to make many Stydia fans happy.

"Teen Wolf" was renewed for Season 6 on July 9, 2015. The new season will premiere on June 28.

Joining Posey, O'Brien and Roden in the main cast are Arden Cho as Kira Yukimura, Dylan Sprayberry as Liam Dunbar and Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate. Among the recurring and guest actors featured in Season 5 were Tamlin Tomita, Tom T. Choi, Michael Hogan, Gabriel Hogan, Kelsey Chow, Victoria Moroles, Ashton Moio, Henry Zaga and Orny Adams, among others.

Aside from reprising his role as Stiles Stilinski in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, O'Brien is also set to reprise his role as Thomas in the third instalment of the "Maze Runner" film franchise based on sci-fi novels by James Dashner of the same title.

In other news, O'Brien is currently in Vancouver, Canada, filming of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure." On March 16, Thursday, he was seriously injured on the set and was rushed to a local hospital after a car struck the actor while he was shooting a scene.

"Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers," 20th Century Fox said in a statement obtained by Entertainment Weekly. "Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery."

Among O'Brien's "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" co-stars are Ki Hong Lee, Dexter Darden, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Rosa Salazar, among others. Watch a clip of the cast talking about the film here:
