If reports are anything to go by, LG G3 will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on March 29.
The Canadian carrier Telus will roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the LG G3 on March 29. A few days ago, Telus removed the LG device from the list of tablets and mobile phones that will get the newest software.
Reports suggest that Telus has disclosed the 16 devices that will get updates in the next period and the LG G3 was set to get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on March 29.
LG G3, which was released in May 2014, sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The LG device has a 3000mAh removable battery and measures 146.30mm x 74.60mm x 8.90mm.
Other features of the smartphone include a 2.1-megapixel front camera for selfies, Snapdragon 801 processor, 16GB of internal storage and a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back, Digital Trends reported.
Earlier reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on March 25, the Galaxy S6 Edge will get the update next month and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will get it on March 26. However, Telus has delayed Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for these devices.
Several reports also suggest that the Moto X Play on the same network has started receiving the Android 6.0 M update. Motorola Moto X Play was released in July last year. The device features a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution.
Motorola Moto X Play weighs 169 grams and has a 3630mAh non removable battery. It measures 148.00mm x 75.00mm x 10.90mm.
Furthermore, according to reports, Moto E will get the Android 6.0 M update on March 22. The Moto G (first generation) will begin receiving the same update in April.
The Canadian carrier has also delayed the Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy S6. However, there is no information on when Samsung Galaxy S5 will get the update.
Meanwhile, according to latest reports, the tech giant Google has begun rolling out OTA Android N update.
Several reports suggest that the search giant released an OTA update to enhance performance for Android N devices. The Android N update is only available for the Nexus 9 4G, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X.
