"The Walking Dead" is an episodic interactive drama graphic adventure video game series developed and published by Telltale Games based on Robert Kirkman's comic book series of the same name.

"The Walking Dead" Season 3 video game is moving down the pipe and it is going to be something fans have never seen before. Telltale's latest game is expected to arrive towards the end of 2016, while more information will be revealed at San Diego, during the Comic-Con International this summer.

"The Walking Dead" Season 3 is returning with something Telltale Games has never "ever shown anybody before. The plans for the third Season were already brewing up when the company got the Season 2 so the plot could be meshed up with a forward going story,  Telltale Games CEO Kevin Bruner told Mashable.

The journey of Clementine in the "The Walking Dead" Season 2 was not something out of gamers' expectation, but the game makers are confident that the third itineration will blow their minds. It is because the current ending left so many possibilities for the future that the developers can now lead it in any direction, and it will not be what players imagine, at least, that is what Telltale claims.

Telltale's upcoming game is coming from a "bag of tricks" with an "unexpected" the gaming company has never revealed before. Bruner further added that they are validating and retaining the previous threads in a cooler and innovative way, from a storytelling standpoint.

Pointing out the plot, Bruner said that the Season 3 is targeted at both new and old players as well, the real challenge of the game is figuring out the puzzles. So the next episode of the game is a speedy play which can adjust in new gamers without having to track what happened in the series, but the story not without its connection with previous games.

"The Walking Dead" Season 3 will be based on players' data of the game previously uploaded to the cloud services of the company, which was introduced in the second Season. Bruner also that hopefully, Telltale will also be able to find a solution for Season 1 players to retrieve their data.

For now, everyone does agree that the ending finale of Season 2 is enough motivation for the old players. It continues the depth and emotional influence of the first one, without giving up its legacy, according to Polygon.

Here is "The Walking Dead" Season 2 trailer but viewers who are planning to play the first season are warned because there may be spoilers in the video.
