'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' star Ben Affleck visits 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' at NBC Studios on March 24, 2016 in New York City.

A video showing Ben Affleck, 43, looking sad because of the bad reviews received by "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has gone viral. In one day, the video titled "Batman V Superman- Sad Affleck" received more than 1 million views on YouTube.

The 68-second clip was taken from the interview of Affleck and his "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" co-star Henry Cavill, 32, with Yahoo Movies. During the interview, the two actors were asked to comment of the mixed response their film received from critics.

In the viral video, the song "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel plays over the clip while Cavill's response is muted. The camera then pans in on Affleck's face as he sadly looks down as if the reviews were too harsh before he says he agrees to Cavill's answer before the clip ends.

In the interview, Cavill emphasized the importance of the audience's reviews. He said what is going to really matter is what the audience says because they are the ones who are buying tickets

"They're the ones who want to see more of this kind of story or not," Cavill said of the audience, whose voice he said is "loudest." He added that "after this weekend, the audience will at least partly have spoken."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is directed by Zack Snyder. Joining Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman in the cast are Amy Adams as Lois, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves, Micharl Shannon as Zod, Mark Edward Taylor as Jack O'Dwyer, and Alan D. Purwin and Hugh Maguire as Wayne Industries pilots, among others.

On March 24, Thursday, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" did very well at the box office. The superhero film opened with a $27.7 million in the screenings on that day alone, Forbes has learned.

This is the superhero film with the second-biggest box office debut. It failed to beat "The Dark Knight Rises," which debuted with $3.6 million.
