The army doctor of the KBS2's hit series "Descendants of the Sun," Kim Ji-won, did not hold back her enthusiasm about the way her career has taken a life-changing direction since the popular drama went live.
In an interview with Naver, Ji-won said, "This drama has been a life-changing production for me. Rather than a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I think it has been a turning point in my life. Of course I'm also thankful to all the productions I've done so far because they helped me become who I am today."
Furthermore, Ji-won is certain that "Descendants of the Sun" may become her reference work. When it comes to the next role she will play in 16 episode series, the 23-year-old actress did not give much detail, fearing to spoil viewers' interest. However, she gave some insight and teased of some big incident happening in the next episodes.
Ji-won said that although teh whole series has taken such a direction, just like there was a huge incident in the recent episodes, fans should expect more in future. as a result, teh character's feelings will be more intense.
The 23-year-old South Korean actress, who ventured into the world of drama series with "Romantic Heaven" in 2011, unveiled that "Descendants of the Sun" is one of the greatest things to happen in her life. In fact, she can rely on the series for her future references without hesitation.
The actress encouraged fans to look forward for 'skinship' between the Goo-Won couple. "Descendants of the Sun" will air its final episode on April 14, and Ji-won has not signed any future projects yet. The actress has a significant choice to make as she revealed via Soompi.
Ji-won acknowledged that not everything is going as well as she likes, and she keeps worrying about the kind of character she has to be next besides the image she should portray to people. However, as long as the actress has a good script and a good role, it does not matter how it turns out.
