The latest rumors suggest of an earlier release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6, predicted to be on July 2016 or a month ahead of the Galaxy Note 5 rollout last year. If the forecast will prove correct, the sixth installment of the original phablet will again skip the IFA trade show this coming September.
And in unboxing the Note 6, Samsung is believed to unleash the following jumbo-sized feature upgrades:
32GB and 64GB storage options with microSD slot
With the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung has decided to limit the storage configurations to 32GB and 64GB. But in the absence of the 128GB model, the South Korean tech giant more than compensated by bringing back the microSD slot that can accommodate up to 200GB of extra memory.
It is all but confirmed that the same feature upgrades will be part of the Galaxy Note 6 push a few from now.
IP68 rating
Another killer feature that returned with the S7 is device resistance against liquid and dust intrusion, which is a huge boost of the same feature last seen with the Galaxy S5 in 2014. No more worries for Sammy fans that their Android flagship will stop working accidentally dunk on water or soiled by significant amount of dirt. And the same convenience applies to the hordes of Note 6 buyers.
5.8-inch phablet screen but easy to handle
The Galaxy S7 Edge screen measures diagonally at 5.5-inch but reviewers marveled at its engineering that it looks smaller and easier to handle than the Apple iPhone 6S Plus. Leaked details so far indicate that the Galaxy Note 6 screen will scream at 5.8-inch but the likelihood is the supersized profile will be the same with that of the 6S Plus. It should be phablet that is not too big at all.
Fast rear shooter with dual-pixels
From 16-megapixel, the Galaxy S7 switch to 12-megapixel but the move is hardly a downgrade as the camera hardware also came with a dual-pixel system that ensures capture or recording of high quality images and clips. The device was also packed with a super-fast autofocus that eliminates the likelihood of blurry pictures.
There is no doubt that these amazing camera bumps will find their way to the Galaxy Note 6 later on.
S-Pen stylus is a kickstand too
A Samsung has recently emerged and it pointed to a planned enhancement of the default Note 6 - the S-Pen stylus. The input instrument is being redesigned to also serve as a solid kickstand for the Samsung giant smartphone, Tech Times reported.
Android N or version 7.0 out of the box
As noted by Gotta Be Mobile, the Galaxy Note 6 release date this 2016 will be ahead of schedule as Samsung would want to capitalize on the possibility of the device among the first to rock Android N, which will take the place of Marshmallow. Reports by Korean media indicate that the next Android will launch as early as June, thus setting the stage for an Android N-powered Galaxy Note 6 in July.
