A woman walks past an advertisement of a new video game 'Call of Duty: Black Ops III' in New York on November 19, 2015.

The rumors and speculations swirling around the untitled "Call of Duty" game, never missed to overwhelm the online world. Today's rumor mill has it that an impressive element will reportedly accompany the game when it gets released.

In 2014, Activision Games made a splash when they officially announced that Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer and Treyarch would "all be developing 'Call of Duty' games on a three-year development cycle."

While there is still not much known about the details of the untitled game yet, an unnamed Activision source told The Tech Game that the next "Call of Duty" title will apparently accompany a pre-order bonus of backwards compatible versions for both "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."

In the event that such claim turns out to be actually true, then game players will surely be delighted to play the upcoming game in an Xbox One console. As recalled, Activision is one of today's distributors who have adamantly declined to bolster the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility feature on the Xbox One, The Gaming Bolt reported.

While these alleged developments have not yet been confirmed by Activision, some aficionados believed that this does not sound impossible as many other publishers have been doing the same thing with their newly released games. The report should still be taken with a grain of salt, although such claims a light to the fans worldwide with respect to what the upcoming game could give them.

To date, no other details have surfaced. However, the rumor mill has it that the game will most likely be called "Call of Duty: Bloodlines," and that it will reportedly be situated in a World War II setting.

The official release date of the game has not yet been revealed yet. But one thing is for sure, the upcoming untitled game is coming and the wait could not be that long.
