‘The Voice’ Season 10 (2016) Knockouts recap, spoilers: Top 20 revealed

"The Voice" Season 10 kicked off its knockouts round on March 28, Monday wherein the top 32 artists compete against each other to make it to the top 20. "The Wrecking Ball" singer Miley Cyrus joins coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera to mentor the remaining contestants. Here is a detailed recap of Knockouts Part 1 (episode 10). Read on to find out who advanced to the next level and who got eliminated.

Fans must note that like Battle round, two contestants from each team are pitted against each other. In this round, however, they sing different songs. The coaches decide to keep one contestant and eliminate the other. In the meantime, each coach gets to steal one contestant.

"The Voice" Season 10 (2016) Knockouts part 1 opens with a performance by Team Blake contestants. Angie Keilhauer takes the stage to sing "Take Your Time" by Sam Hunt. Paxton Ingram performs "Hometown Glory" by Adele. Coach Blake decides to keep Paxton and eliminated Keilhauer.

Performing next are Owen Danoff and Ryan Quinn, the two four-chair turnaround artists from Adam Levine's team. Owen Danoff sings "She's Always a Woman" by Billy Joel and Ryan Quinn performs "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. After much struggle, Coach Adam arrives on a decision to keep Owen Danoff and give away Ryan Quinn to Christina Aguilera.

Team Pharrell artists Malik Heard and Hannah Huston compete next. Hanna sings "House of the Rising Sun" and Malik Heard sings "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. Coach Pharrell selects Hannah and sends Malik home.

Katie Basden and Lacy Mandigo from Team Blake are performing next. Katie Basden performs "Gypsy" by Fleetwood Mac and Lacy Mandigo sings "Zombie" by Cranberries. Blake Shelton chooses Katie Basden over Lacy Mandigo.

Alisan Porter and Daniel Passino from Team Christina takes the stage next. Alisan Porter sings "River" by Joni Mitchell and Daniel Passino performs "Ain't too Proud to Beg" by Temptations. Christina chooses to keep Alisan and eliminates Daniel Passino.

The last performers of "The Voice" Season 10 (2016) knockouts part 1 are Team Pharrell artists Emily Keener and Pharrell and Shalyah Fearing. Emily Keener performs "Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchell and Shalyah Fearing sings "A Broken Wing" by Martina McBride. Coach Pharrell chooses Emily Keener and Coach Adam steals Shalyah Fearing.
