Will Caitlyn Jenner's "I am Cait" get cancelled after season 2?

"I am Cait" season 2 is reportedly about to get cancelled following its less than stellar ratings. When it was announced that Caitlyn Jenner will be having her own show, a spin-off to "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," many thought that E! hit gold, viewership will hit the roof, advertisers will come left and right. Things, however, started to change after the first season.

According to Radar Online, "I am Cait" is once again facing cancellation rumors due to its low ratings. In comparison to its series premiere, which was watched by 2.73 million, season 2 episode 1 only reportedly drew 745,000 people.

"There's buzz that the show could be cancelled as early as next month," the insider said.

The news about "I am Cait" season 2 being cancelled, definitely broke Caitlyn Jenner's heart. The reality star, however, believed that it was her ex-wife, Kris Jenner, who is behind of all this. She speculated that Kris was trying to sabotage her as she has yet to move on from their failed marriage.

The insider revealed that Caitlyn is beyond devastated to hear this cancellation talks going around.

"It looks like she is struggling to accept that she is not going to have the spotlight anymore and does not know what she is going to do once this is over."

Although E! insisted that there is no truth to "I am Cait" being cancelled after season 2, fans over at Radar Online believed that the show should not have been aired in the first place. They pointed out that rather than the series being a venue to talk about transgender issues, it became nothing but another reality series about the Jenner family.

A netizen also pointed out that possibly one of the reasons why "I am Cait" is about to get cancelled, is that not a lot of viewers will be able to relate to it.

"Even if you give the other trans people their own show, it probably won't do that well either. I have no idea how many trans people are in the country but it seems not very many. Only a small number of people would have any interest in it," he said.

"I am Cait" season 2 airs Sundays on E!
