"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 fans are reportedly upset with how April Kepner (Sarah Drew) has been treating her estranged husband Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams).
In the previous episodes, it was revealed that April is pregnant with her and Jackson's baby. However, April didn't bother to tell Jackson about her pregnancy because she knew that he wanted to get a divorce.
When her secret was finally out in the open, April lashed out at Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) for revealing it to Jackson without her consent.
Even after Arizona apologized to April several times, it seems that the latter couldn't forgive the former for what she did. At one point, April even lambasted Arizona with mean words, and even wished her ill.
To add to this, April also didn't accept Jackson when he offered to be present throughout her pregnant. Even though Jackson doesn't have plans to get back together with April, he still said that he's willing to be with April throughout her checkups and the like.
However, April refused Jackson's offer, and said that she doesn't really need him because she can raise their child on her own.
In the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12, April and Jackson will continue to have a confrontation about the former's pregnancy.
To make things worse, Jackson's mom Catherine (Debbie Allen) will surface and shake up the already estranged couple.
On Design N Trend's website, one fan @LeeToo wrote, "April is a HORRIBLE character now."
Meanwhile, while speaking with TV Line, Drew talked about the shocking divorce and pregnancy reveals from the previous episodes.
"They were both pretty big shockers for me. I kind of thought, walking into the episode, that it was going to start with us about to sign the papers, and then the flashbacks were going to make everyone see that we were meant to be together, and then it would conclude with a happy ending. So, the first jaw-drop was, 'What?! We're actually singing these papers?' But then the next jaw-drop was the pregnancy which made me go, 'OK, well, there's some hope now. I see hope in this new life. All is not lost," she said.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
