One Punch Man Season 2

One Punch Man Season 2, manga and webcomic updates: If you are a fan of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice or perhaps Marvel's upcoming film Captain America: Civil War, then you would surely love this development in One Punch Man webcomic and manga series.

One Punch Man series is heading for a Civil War. You heard it right. A war among heroes is brewing and it might involve our favorite hero, Saitama and his trusted protégé Genos.

Months after Gorou's defeat at the hands of Saitama, One's webcomic has now entered the Hero Hunter arc, which will introduce a new organization of super humans known as the Hero Hunters. This particular group is becoming a threat to Heroes Association's existence by recruiting potential S-Class members.

Genos, on the other hand, is starting to doubt the integrity of the Heroes' Association because of its corrupt ways.

Via One-Punch Man wikia:

"The time goes back to the present. A man named Axcel from an association known as the "Hunters" is being offered a spot in the Hero Association as an S-Class hero, due to the fact that the Hero Association lost a the supply of S-Class heroes after Garou's Hero Hunting arc. Surprisingly, Axcel denied the offer, saying that the Hero Association is corrupt. This can explain why Blast is always absent during a meeting session....

A sumo named Raiden was also offered a job in the Hero Association as an S-Class hero, but he denied the offer, since he heard about an association called the "Hunters". The chapter ends with Genos revealing that he has a feeling of distrust with the Hero Association, hinting that there will be a CIVIL WAR..."

The Appearance of Blast:

If there's really a Civil War about to happen in One-Punch Man universe, then we should expect Saitama to stick around with the S-Class members of the Heroes' association against possibly Genos, the Hero Hunters and Blast - the no.1 ranked hero.

Although One provided his readers a glimpse of what Blast looks like, he didn't fully reveal his face in Tatsumaki's flashback. There's definitely a reason why he chose to be absent in all Heroes' Association meeting. Perhaps, he already senses its filthy business that's why he formed a group of Hero Hunters.
