MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Nears as 2015 Models Discounted by High $500?

After the MacBook Air and pro 2016 release date skipped the recent "Let Us Loop You In" launching event, the devices are rumored to arrive in June with an overall change in design.

Rumors suggested that the new Apple laptops will be as thin as the current 12-inch Apple MacBook. People took a liking on the portability of the latter.

Based on such whispers, designer Martin Hajek created a MacBook Pro 2016 concept image incorporating the looks of the MacBook laptop. The render has slimmer bezels and thinner chassis. Since the fate of MacBook Air is still unknown, there is a chance that the rumor will be true.

Reports speculated that the delay on the laptops' release is to prevent the devices from stealing the spotlight from iPhone SE and iPad Pro.

The new rumored MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 release date is next month. However, a recent report from DigiTimes said that Apple will ship 13-inch and 15-inch ultra-thin MacBooks before the second quarter ends. The publication added that the laptop will be unveiled at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference which is usually held in June.

In order to salvage the MacBook Air from declining sales, MacRumors claimed that MacBook Air will be available in two sizes only, the 11 inch and 13 inch. However, there is a chance that a 15 inch MacBook Air will be revealed. The MacBook Air will finally pack a Retina display.

MacBook Air and Pro 2016 are rumored to retain the sizes of the original with Retina display, but will be packed with powerful specs and features, including the latest Intel Skylake processors. The laptops will also run with the latest OS X El Capitan.

However, there is no official announcement from Apple regarding the final release date and features of the two laptops.
