Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date set August 2016 as Galaxy Note 4 now available for $319.99

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release will come soon and various renders are spotted online that speculate the specs and features of the handset.

Two concept images courtesy of different designers appeared on the Internet. One of the renders is made by designer Rishi Ramesh who imagined the phablet to pack a 6-inch screen display with 4K pixel resolution and 6GB RAM to match the screen size.

Other features mentioned in the render are iris and fingerprint scanners. Camera is located at the bottom and the back of the device. The metal chassis also look pretty solid with rounded edges. The handset will cost around $900, just like its predecessors.

Another concept image courtesy of designer Metti Farhang boasts a dual camera. The handset   will include a 6-inch screen display with either Quad or 4K resolution. It will also have a 16 megapixel and 12 MP dual camera combo, 6 GB of RAM, and USB Type C port. The handset will be available in 64, 128 or 256 GB variants and will include a whopping 5,000 mAh battery capacity.

According to Samsung-centric website SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release will happen in July, instead in September. For the past years, Samsung has been using the IFA event in Berlin, Germany as its launching platform for the Galaxy Note series. The South Korean tech company usually holds a media event a day or two before the conference.

According to reports, Samsung is looking into releasing its phablet in summer, which is actually better than fall release window as there are fewer competitions, especially the much anticipated Apple device.

However, there is no official statement from the South Korean tech giant yet.
